Jack Vogele named TCCAA Baseball Player of the Week

MORRISTOWN, TN – Jack Vogele has been on a tear for No. 6 Walters State all season, and this past week was no exception.

Helping lead the Senators to a 3-1 week, Vogele was named the TCCAA Baseball Player of the Week. For the week, Vogele hit two home runs, recorded two doubles and drove in eight runs. Vogele had nine hits, as well.

Vogele's biggest game of the week came on Friday against Columbia State, going 4-5 with two home runs and four RBIs. 

For the season, Vogele is hitting .444 with 11 home runs and 57 RBIs. He also has 16 stolen bases and has yet to make an error in left field. 

Vogele and the Senators are back in action on Tuesday, visiting Pellissippi State for a non-conference matchup. First pitch is set for 1 pm ET.
