Six Lady Senators named to 2026 All-TCCAA Softball Teams
MORRISTOWN, TN – The Tennessee Community College Athletic Association released its 2026 All-TCCAA Softball teams on Thursday, and six Walters State student-athletes were honored.
For the Lady Senators, Kacey Pillion, Lauren Ruehl, Brianice Silguero and Addison Beech were all named to the All-TCCAA First Team. On the All-TCCAA Second Team were Nyah Mullins and Jordan Pena.
Named as the All-TCCAA First Team catcher, Pillion's freshman season has been one to remember. In 31 games, Pillion hit .398 with 14 home runs and 36 RBIs. Pillion is fifth in the conference in home runs. Defensively, Pillion has thrown out seven runners. That ranks her second in the conference.
Along with Pillion, Ruehl made the All-TCCAA First Team in the infield. Ruehl is seventh in the conference in home runs, with 13, and hit .361 on the season. Ruehl drove in 37 runs and had a .759 slugging percentage.
Selected as the designated player on the All-TCCAA First Team, Silguero batted .415 on the year and smacked six home runs. She drove in 24 runs and had a .738 slugging percentage. Silguero's on-base percentage was .494.
In the outfield, Addison Beech made the All-TCCAA First Team after leading the league in batting average. In 48 games, Beech hit .506 and had a .534 on-base percentage. Beech collected 81 hits, homered four times and drove in 32 runs. She also stole 25 bases and scored 55 runs. Defensively in center field, Beech did not make a single error in 104 chances.
On the second team in the infield, Mullins was selected after a strong freshman season. In 47 games, Mullins hit .364 with nine home runs and 47 RBIs. Mullins doubled 15 times on the season. Defensively at third base, Mullins turned seven double plays.
Pena was selected as an All-TCCAA Second Team outfielder after hitting .370. Pena scored 41 runs and drove in 23. She hit 12 doubles and recorded a .433 on-base percentage.
